Ella van Doorndraai is one of only three Wierd 409 offspring ever born at Doorndraai, making her a particularly special mare in our herd. Her combination with our Jasper Crown mare, Nella, has proven to be a pairing of real value, blending strength and refinement in a way that shows clearly in Ella’s type. She received a second premie as a foal and has matured into a mare with a distinctive look and promising movement.

Ella carries herself with a calm confidence and has an easy, responsive nature, making her a pleasant mare to manage. With her rare pedigree and the influence of both Wierd 409 and Nella behind her, she holds strong potential for future breeding, and we look forward to the role she will play within our programme. Ella is currently in foal.
