Leonora van Doorndraai is a young mare we are very excited about at Doorndraai Friesian Stud. She earned an excellent first premie in 2022 and continued to progress well, receiving Star with a second premie in 2023 and improving again with an IBOP of 78 to achiveve a first premie Star at the 2025 judging. She descends from a strong South African dam line, and this quality is evident in her movement and overall presence.

Leonora has a willing, responsive temperament, making her a pleasure to work with as she matures. As a daughter of Tandora van Doorndraai, she represents an important continuation of a highly successful breeding line and will play a meaningful role in our programme moving forward.
