Nyncke fan de Visscherwei was imported to South Africa at just one year old together with three other fillies, bringing with her an excellent bloodline and the kind of movement and presence that immediately stood out. Her sire was a top dressage horse in the Netherlands, and this athletic influence was clear in her own way of going.

Nyncke became Preferent in 2016, with Natalie van Doorndraai being her fourth offspring to earn Star, securing her Preferent *4 status. She combined expressive movement with a pleasing temperament, making her a mare who was not only beautiful to work with but also reliable in what she produced.

Her loss is deeply felt, as she made a meaningful contribution to our breeding programme through the quality and consistency of her offspring. Nyncke’s influence remains woven into the Doorndraai herd, and she continues to be remembered with appreciation.
