Building on our established Friesian breeding programme, Doorndraai introduces a new generation of sport horses, combining the distinctive qualities of the Friesian with the athleticism and versatility of Sport Horse bloodlines.

Through carefully selected crosses between our Friesian mares and a Sport Horse stallion, we aim to produce horses that bring together the Friesian’s presence, movement and character with the agility, athletic ability and versatility sought in the modern sport horse.

This breeding programme represents an exciting addition to Doorndraai, exploring new possibilities while remaining grounded in the quality and bloodlines of our Friesian mares.

We invite you to discover the first generation of Doorndraai Sport Horses, with each foal representing the beginning of this new chapter in our breeding programme.
