Zanika van Doorndraai is a two-year-old filly with a naturally elegant outline and a composed, thoughtful way of carrying herself. She has entered the stage of growth where her frame is lengthening, her neck is lifting, and her overall proportions are beginning to come together into the shape of a future mare with real presence. There is a quiet confidence about Zanika that makes her stand out without trying.

Her conformation is developing cleanly and evenly, straight limbs, a longer hip, and a shoulder that already hints at freedom of movement. She offers a pleasing balance between refinement and substance, with a feminine head and an eye that reflects both intelligence and calm awareness. As she matures, she is showing the kind of structural correctness that gives us confidence in her long-term athletic ability.

Temperament-wise, Zanika is attentive and sensible. She approaches new situations with a steady mind, showing curiosity without overreacting. She is respectful in hand and quick to understand expectations, making her one of the more straightforward young fillies to handle in her age group. She is the kind of youngster who builds trust easily and responds well to consistent, gentle guidance.

Her dam line has produced horses known for reliability, type and versatile movement, and Zanika already reflects these traits. She has the beginnings of a future riding mare with both beauty and practical usefulness, the kind of Friesian who will suit a rider wanting a responsive yet manageable partner.

Within our youngstock group, Zanika van Doorndraai brings a blend of refinement, sensibility and athletic promise. She is maturing into a filly with the makings of a well-rounded mare, one who will carry both her pedigree and her temperament into a bright future.
