Area van Doorndraai was one of our highlights at the 2022 inspection, where she earned her Star status after receiving a second premie. She is a big, strong mare with an athletic way of going, showing the influence of both Tjalf 443 and Aan 416 in her build and movement. Area has a steady, cooperative temperament, making her an easy mare to manage as she continues to mature.

With her size, strength and pedigree, she is well suited to contribute to our breeding programme, and she is planned to form part of the 2026 breeding season. As a daughter of Harmkje fan Bokkum, she carries forward a dam line we have valued greatly at Doorndraai.
